This describes how PayBooqs handles data for the businesses ("tenants") that use our payment and invoicing platform, and their customers. If you have questions, contact us at support@paybooqs.com.

What PayBooqs Is

PayBooqs is a hosted payment portal and invoicing platform. Businesses ("tenants") use it to connect their QuickBooks Online account and payment processor, send invoices, and collect payments from their own customers.

Information We Collect

How We Use Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share tenant or customer data across tenants — each tenant's data is kept logically separate.

QuickBooks Data

When a tenant connects QuickBooks Online, PayBooqs accesses accounting data (customers, invoices, payments) solely to sync invoices into the portal and record payments back to QuickBooks on that tenant's behalf. This access can be revoked at any time from the tenant's QuickBooks Online account or PayBooqs admin panel.

Payment Data

Card and bank account details are collected and tokenized directly by our payment processor's secure fields — PayBooqs never receives or stores raw card or account numbers.

Data Retention

We retain account, invoice, and payment records for as long as a tenant's account is active, and as needed to comply with financial record-keeping obligations after that.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access to tenant admin and customer accounts is protected by authentication and bot-verification checks.

Your Choices

Tenants can disconnect QuickBooks or their payment processor at any time. Customers can contact the business they're paying (the tenant) or PayBooqs support to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information, subject to the tenant's own record-keeping requirements.
