Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

This is a starter agreement covering the basics of using PayBooqs. Contact support@paybooqs.com with questions.

1. The Service

PayBooqs ("we," "us") provides a hosted payment portal and invoicing platform that lets a business ("tenant," "you") connect its QuickBooks Online account and payment processor to send invoices and collect payments from its own customers.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your admin credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. QuickBooks & Payment Processor Connections

Connecting QuickBooks Online and your payment processor account is optional but required for the platform's core features (invoice sync, payment collection). You authorize PayBooqs to access and act on your behalf within those connected accounts solely to provide the service — reading and writing invoice/payment records, and processing charges you or your customers initiate. You can revoke these connections at any time.

4. Payments

PayBooqs is not a bank or payment processor — payments are processed by a third-party payment processor under its own terms. PayBooqs is not responsible for delays, chargebacks, or disputes arising from payment processing itself, though we'll assist in good faith with troubleshooting.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PayBooqs for unlawful purposes, to misrepresent invoices or charges, or to attempt to access another tenant's data or disrupt the platform's operation.

6. Fees

Fees for using PayBooqs (subscription and/or transaction fees) are as agreed separately between you and PayBooqs at signup.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the admin panel will be disabled; QuickBooks and payment processor connections should be disconnected by you at that time.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PayBooqs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of PayBooqs after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
